首选是这首歌，是欧洲版超凡蜘蛛侠2的主题曲，自从这首发布以来，一直单曲循环。
The edge，边缘，善与恶，生与死，不经意就切换。正如这部电影里的纠葛，电光人是被忽略的个体，受尽折磨的生命里突然多出了一道光，然后他就一意孤行地追求着这个照亮他生命的人。电光人组曲里he lied to me he is my enemy 的咆哮充分表明了这种执着的逆转。
而后是哈利。与老版的英俊帅气不同，这一部的演员突出了他病态的俊俏，更贴近原著。而昔日的伙伴反目成仇，也是跨越了另一个边缘。与老版中决定相信自己的伙伴不同，新版终究将他们变成敌人，而造成了格温的死。
格温的死又是遵照原著出现的悲剧。片尾的坟墓，憔悴的少年，流转的时间。格温终究是死在了爱人手里，内脏震碎，颈椎断裂。致命伤却在男孩心里，割开了一次又一次。
The edge就是把这些切换和迷茫咆哮了出来。最喜欢I'll fight until the day the world stop turning.这是片尾的承诺吧。就算站在痛苦的边缘，男孩依旧为了守护城市的平静而战斗。
