That's probably the line reps for Tommy Lee Jones' brewing sophomore directorial effort "The Homesman" will be spinning when they shop the movie at the upcoming American Film Market, and yes, Meryl Streep and Hilary Swank are part of the package for the movie they are hoping will lure investors, reports The Wrap.
First announced this spring, Jones will write, direct and star in the pioneer-era tale of a woman (Swank) who joins a outlawed man (Jones) in an attempt to usher three mentally unstable women from Nebraska to Iowa, on an odyssey that will have them braving the elements every step of the way. No word yet on what Streep's role might be. The movie would be a reunion for Jones and Streep, who starred in this summer's "Great Hope Springs," which earned a fairly decent $66 million at the box office, while for Swank it will be her first time with either actor. This line-up will likely spur a lot of interest if the budget isn't too outrageous so we'll see how this comes together.
