The followings are some items remained to be clarified.
1. Please explain how you came up with the amount of $4,349.45 shown on the first page of upgrade estimate. It appears that you have subtracted the amount of depreciation twice. The difference between the settlement amount $17,607.95 and the amount of payment $11,367.27 we’ve received so far should be $6,240.68.
2. Please confirm that, if I hire a general contractor to do the repairs, Farmers Insurance will pay us twenty percent of the contractor’s overheads and profit as an addition to the actual cash value computed previously.
3. Please provide us a detailed breakdown of the cabinet price you quoted, such as material costs and labor costs respectively. Please also identify the parts which are to be replaced, or refinished.
Please be advised that we will not endorse the check received in the amount of $11,367.27 until after all the items mentioned above, and the issues stated in the letter dated September 13, 2013 which was sent to you previously, are addressed.
