He is already holding onto those hands. His fingers, they linger, as if to make sure she is really there. He is reaching for her, touching her without facing her disgust, something he would have thought impossible only minutes before.
And he is surrendering to her. Not to the FBI. Just to her. Pleading her forgiveness. For everything. For all he has done and had to do. For tearing her world to pieces so she can rebuild it on a more solid ground, once all of this over. So she will one day have all that she so deserves.
This proud, proud man who commands a criminal empire is on his knees in front of her, placing himself at her mercy.
