An Ebola vaccine developed by the Academy of Military Medical Sciences has been approved to enter the human test stage, the Chinese People's Liberation Army's (PLA) General Logistics Department announced. The restructured vaccine is the first 2014 mutant gene type in the world and especially targets the strain plaguing West Africa. It makes China the third country to test an Ebola vaccine in clinical trials following the US and Canada.
