Lloyd Beckett, who has been the Nets head athletic trainer for two years and before that the No. 2 under Tim Walsh, is leaving the team at the end of the season and returning to Maine, where he grew up, to open a physical therapy and performance center.

He has gained experience through his work in a wide variety of sports medicine settings, from outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation clinics to professional and NCAA Division I athletics.
