最近上课有点辛苦，所以就不看高深的了，看了点不入流的言情侦探青春小说（出处在下面），属于一两个小时就能看完的那种。上面有句话让我非常想笑：

今天看了公子正推荐的《智慧书》（其实我觉得这还不如叫《入世明言三百诫》呢！）虽然目前只读到第15章，但很多章节都觉得值得再看几眼。最喜欢的当然是第11章，可惜单独任何一句都不算有趣或者奇怪，虽然连起来非常有诗意。
这里就挑第5章里面的一句奸相毕露的话吧：
The most important lesson experience teaches is to maintain dependence, and entertain it without satisfying it.
难是不难，但是仔细体味作者写这句话时的唏嘘和自得，以及在后文中的警告：But don’t carry it too far: leading others astray by your silence or making their ills incurable for your own good.
就能明白，这书根本就不会让你心平气和，只会让你更加和光同尘，为善固然是智珠在握，圆通无碍；为恶也能一脸正气，守株待兔。

本周开看一本新书，300多页，不出意外会看好几遍。这是第二页上的句子，非常喜欢：
“If a man’s thinking leads him to call in question ideas and customs which regulate the behaviour of those about him, to reject beliefs which they hold, to see better ways of life than those they follow, it is almost impossible for him, if he is convinced of the truth of his own reasoning, not to betray by silence, chance words, or general attitude that he is different from them and does not share their opinions”

重点当然是句子本身的内容，不过句式也很有特色，特别是主句部分那个后置了的that-clause与betray的关系以及与silence，chance words，general attitude之间的逻辑联系，很值得回味。
