In order to find possible correlations between moral foundations and blood types, we performed analysis of variance (ANOVAFootnote5) on our data.
ANOVA (Table 2) shows that our respondents’ scores on the foundations of Harm (F=4.300 p=0.006, η 2=0.05) and Purity (F=4.653 p=0.004, η 2=0.06) significantly differ statistically by the various blood types.
According to Cohen [26], we can say that all our effect sizes are about medium.
Post hoc analysisFootnote6 (see Table 3) has shown the following: The Harm dimension was significantly more pronounced within B type subjects than within O and AB blood types.
A blood type subjects have a more pronounced Purity dimension than AB blood type subjects. Also, B blood type subjects scored significantly higher on this dimension than AB types.
