没有爆头，那么重装遇到狙击，还是得带小手枪

我觉得牢锤比先锋更需要这个。重爆失打脑虫受场地影响弹夹打空都打不死脑虫。

这枪怪血越多越强，过热状态一直在一直炸炸炸

跟距离有关，距离近滋一下就爆了

我体验的感觉是盾卫单刷带这个比等离子要好一点，拿这个不管是处理刽子手还是双脑虫都要舒服很多

I’m seeing a lot of people saying it’s bad at low levels, takes a while to deal damage, or is lackluster, and I couldn’t disagree more.
The Volkite Pistol is an absolute superbeast for Minoris clearing. It’s strength comes from insta-procing the thermal explosion upon landing Gunstrikes. Consistent and guaranteed wave clear. That’s where it truly shines. Even with the Master Crafted tier you easily blow through Minoris hoards because the stagger is insane. This won’t even talk about its consistent performance against Terminus enemies.
For Bulwarks, it’s a bigger upgrade than the Primaris. Because of Power Sword’s Heavy stance dealing knockback, you’re consistently guaranteed insane wave clear just for existing, and that’s without the Volkite perks to increase its explosion radius. If you combine the perks to increase explosion radius, as well as Bulwarks “Don’t lose control when you have armor” perk, you can genuinely just stand in the waves and blow them apart. It’s actually absurd how good the weapon is on Bulwark. Seriously, I was genuinely shocked when I first discovered Gunstrikes triggered the burst.
Bulwarks become Assault’s Jump Pack itself, and Assault/Vanguards become even more monstrous because of their ability to capitalize off Gunstrikes(Increased Parry/Dodge windows). If you use the Volkite pistol like a Melee weapon instead of a ranged one(focusing on Gunstrikes), everything else just falls into place, and it’s disturbing how good the thing is.
I almost have to wonder if the insta-proc is a bug. I was running Ruthless yesterday to level it up, and even at the green tier, it easily outshined the Heavy Bolt Pistol imo.
It sounds weird, but it’s almost like it’s Saber’s way of indirectly buffing Melee weapons. It’s that good.
Edit 2/TLDR: Gunstrikes with the NVP have an expanded radius with a large amount of stagger. It doesn't apply burning, but procs a modified discharge. When compared to the Bolt Weapons, it's clearly no contest and the discharge lets you clear Minoris way easier. Some are saying it's not discharging... I'm really not sure. it might just be broken for some players. Considering how heraldry kept resetting for some, and not for others, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a bug that only affected certain players. Just compare the two Gunstrikes, it's night and day.

理论上狙击也适合这手枪的，爆燃擅长的点孢子雷和点boss都是单发狙的弱势区间，只是smsaber它就不给发呀

有爆头效果，你对着头滋会有爆头特有的白叉，爆燃积累的速度明显更快

滋boss可以持续掉血，除此之外卵用没用

国外玩家总结的优点：
1，集火可以一起攒热能。。。
2，光束可以给友军指示目标。。。
3，无后坐力高精度，手长。。。

至少之前版本大锤大盾遇到脑虫就样衰了，现在总算能对付一下脑虫。。。
